After leaving Washington two weeks ago, Charlie Davies continues his rehabilitation in Delaware. After some final check-ups, which he underwent at the hospital from Monday till Wednesday, the doctors told that the progress Charlie Davies makes, is "fantastic".
Charlie Davies, seriously injured in a car accident last October 13 had been operated at the Washington Hospital Center before being transferred to the National Rehabilitation Hospital also in Washington D.C. Since then Charlie continues his rehabilitation in Delaware, a state situated at the East Coast of the United States, where he will be assisted by the medical and technical staff of the men's national team of the United States Soccer Federation. The progress Charlie Davies made last weeks
has been judged after some medicaltests as
'fantastic' by the doctors who follow his
condition. The American international, and
forward of FCSM since July 2009, pronounced
his desire to remain at Delaware until after
December there he believes that the conditions
and the environment are perfect for him to
continue progressing. In Delaware, Davies benefits of the program his head rehabilitation trainer, James Hashimoto (US Soccer Federation), has put together. Oguchi Onyewu, defender of AC Milan and recovering form a knee injury, also joined his US national team mate at the installations in Delaware. Charlie Davies has moved, accompanied by his girlfriend, temporarily to Delaware in order to concentrate fully on his rehabilitation. |
