Senegal played their third group match at the London Olympics. A 1-1 draw against the United Arab Emirates was enough to secure the second spot and to get a ticket for the quarter finals. FCSM goalie Papa Demba Camara was once again an unused substitute. Senegal play Mexico on Saturday, August 4 on the mythical pitch of Wembley.
