Where the Youth Academy of FC Sochaux-Montbéliard has the mission to scout and train the young players at FCSM, the school results of the boys are as important as their footballing performances.

FCSM and the secondary school of Hautes Vignes in Seloncourt designed a program for the young players of the "pré-formation" category to combine in the best possible way their school- and sports activities.

The major concern of FCSM is to maintain a learning environment for their apprentices. School lessons and transportation are adjusted to their training schedule at the club.

The Youth Academy disposes of a permanent medical service and an organization which makes it possible to host the young football players. For instance more than 120 meals are being served every day. To spend their time off, the young players have a hall where they can watch TV, or play table-tennis, or video games at their disposal.
